The filmmakers used what they already had available
Story
After being resurrected by a sinister creature, Art the Clown returns to the mundane town of Miles County, where he targets a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. Scenes depicted in “Terrifier”; haunted house was filmed in a real haunted house called the Fright Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Art’s favorite acid is fluoroantimonic acid, which he keeps in a clear glass bottle. It is a super acid that can even dissolve glass.
Art the Clown:
There is a mid-scene in a mental hospital with Chris Jericho as guard Alan Burke and Leah Voysey as a nurse .. German DVDs from Tiberius Film and Blu-ray Releases cut approx. three minutes to check “Not under 18” rating (this was necessary as video release guidelines are stricter than theatrical releases). Basically every scene of violence was cut to tone down the violence.

Nameless Media 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Mediabook releases are fully uncut and lightly SPIO/JK certified. The Equalizer (Not Alone) Written by Tim McEwan & Tyler Lyle (Jamison as Tyler Lyle) Performed by The Midnight Courtesy of BMG Platinum Songs U.S. (BMI). So I went with this hoping it would be the same format as the first one.
What happened was not that
A psycho clown meets strangers and takes them apart for 90 minutes in a horrible way. Don’t get me wrong, the brutality was turned up to 11 and they got a little funnier. But there were some really drawn out scenes. And I thought they created a plot and story that was worth watching.
They even create plot devices that at first seem like one hell of a sequel
But by the time the credits rolled, not a single question had been answered and the plot had not been resolved. This is so frustrating I could really go on and on about it but why bother.
